About

Held each year in Kailua-Kona, the King Kamehameha Day Celebration Parade honor the life of the great ali‘i who united the Hawaiian Islands. The parade takes place on the first Saturday after Kamehameha Day, which in the state of Hawaii is June 11.

In 2016, Kamehameha Day happens to be on a Saturday, therefore the Kailua-Kona parade (and all Kamehameha Day parades) will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
