Join the fun after the parade when award-winning vocalist Nathan Aweau performs at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel. The Ho‘olaulea will also feature Hawaiian arts and crafts, hula, traditional practitioners and more.
To be held at Kona Historical Society, the workshop will feature lei-making demonstrations, pa‘u wrapping sessions, equestrian protocol and history of the pa‘u tradition. The public is invited to attend. For information, contact Barbara Nobriga at 322-9944.
